CARTA DE APRESENTAÇÃO

Foi em 2015 que a comida se tornou parte integral do meu trabalho como fotógrafo. Mas sempre esteve diretamente relacionado com meus ideais e buscas pessoais, como meio de compreensão e valorização de pessoas e suas culturas. 

Depois de concluir a Universidade de Cinematografia na Universidad del Cine em Buenos Aires (2014), iniciei pesquisas sobre culinária popular em minhas viagens, através do video e da fotografia. Em 2016 com a minha primeira ida a Bangkok, a paixão pela gastronomia e sua representatividade social cresceu, assim como as colaborações com Chefs, Restauranteurs, Produtores e mídias especializadas. Através dessa curiosidade realizei trabalhos com Hotéis como, Pulmman (Bangkok), Softel (Bangkok), Suhkothai (Bangkok), Banian Tree (Bangkok), Four Seasons (Hong Kong) e Wyn Palace (Macau), além restaurantes independentes na Tailândia, Hong Kong e Brasil, assim como grandes eventos da gastronomia mundial, “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants”, “MAD” e “Michelin Guide Thailand – Revelation”.

Em 2019 lançamos a plataforma UTOPICFOOD!, onde apresentamos documentários com foco em histórias singulares de pessoas apaixonadas por gastronomia, desde Chefs inovadores a produtores especializados, passando por diferentes espaços e culturas da industria alimentícia.  

PRESENTATION LETTER

Was 2015 when food became the focus on my work as a Photographer. But it was always directly related to my ideals and personal motivation, as a subject to comprehend and value people and their culture. 

After the conclusion of my Cinematography Degree at Universidad del Cine, in Buenos Aires (2014), Argentina, I started my culinary research on my travels, having video and photography as my media. In 2016 with my first trip to Bangkok, the passion for gastronomy  and its social representation grew, as much as the collaborations with Chefs, Restauranteurs, Producers and specialised media. Through this curiosity I worked in collaboration with Hotels such as,  Pulmman (Bangkok), Softel (Bangkok), Suhkothai (Bangkok), Banian Tree (Bangkok), Four Seasons (Hong Kong) e Wyn Palace (Macau), and independent restaurants through Southeast Asia. I also had the opportunity to shoot on some of the most relevant gastronomy events, “World’s 50 Best Restaurants”, “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants”, “MAD” and “Michelin Guide Thailand – Revelation”.

In 2019 we launched the platform UTOPICFOOD!, where we present documentaries with focus on unique stories of passionate characters on the culinary world, from innovative Chefs till specialised producers, crossing through different spaces and cultures, of the food industry.
